Andy steps outside his door asking the voice in his head “where are we going?” Andy's heart began to race.
“Just let me drive for a minute, I'm telling you it will be worth it” the voice says accompanied with a chilling chuckle. Andy is walking down the street he soon comes across a crowd of people cheering. Andy pauses as he heard the voice talk to him “Now, let's see if you can remember this little trick” “What trick?” Andy says as everyone Freeze's. “What the hell? What happened?” Andy just looked around he sees everyone just standing still in time. “Did...I?” “No, we did” the voice said as Andy tried to touch people. “They are frozen well their minds are at least, I'm very glad to see you're as powerful as you were before our long separation” the voice says with satisfactorily. “What are you? What am I?” Andy begins to feel scared, he wants to panic, but the voice will not him. “Be calm Andy one bad mistake and all these people will bleed, and when the mind bleeds out it's never a happy ending for anyone. You wouldn't want any of these innocent people to die because of you would you?” Andy's thoughts are still rushing trying to piece together a response, he tries to cancel out the voice but it just laughs gently. “Stop fighting me, and start embracing me”. “How can I embrace what I don't know!?” Andy screams at the voice. “You've know this all your life, you've embraced me before when you were a child. Let's make a deal, remember those?” “A deal?” Andy tries to remember but it's vague. “Let me help you remember” the voice says as images begin to appear around him. He sees his younger self in a room by himself playing with toys. “This was me as kid, I should remember it. My favorite CD broke” he looks around to see his old room, it was filled with CDs and music posters. Andy then sees an older man sitting across from the room, it looked like an older him, but his eyes were something else. Red, like fresh blood, and rimmed with black so dark it resembles shadows. “It broke” Andy said depressingly as the older him picks up the CD and smiles at Andy. “It’s not broken, just scratched” the older him runs his fingers on the edges of the CD gently touching the scratch marks. “Will it, will it still play?” Andy asked him. “Of course it will” the older him kneels down, “Look at the scratches as forgotten memories, you just have to fill them in when they come, and be patient even when the music it stops and when it freezes to catch up” the older him says, but Andy still looked depressed as the older him then cleans the CD. “Look, I’ll make a deal with you if it works we’ll sing it together, and if it doesn’t we’ll make your parents buy you even more CDs. Deal?” the older him holds out his hand. “They said I’m not supposed to sing….” “If I sing I let you out….” both the younger and present Andy said together. Andy comes out of the vision. “Was that?” Andy asks. “In due time, but let’s make a deal”.
