Peter wakes up in Mars living room. He looks up to see Ruby and Markus sitting along with Mars and Julian. “Oh he finally wakes” a young woman says to him as she takes the bandage off of his forehead.
“Who are you?” He asked her as he sits up. “I’m Rebecca, one of Mars friends. He told me what had happened and told me needed my assitance” She smiles at him “You really used some powerful magic from what Mars and that other witch had told me” she stands up and heads to the kitchen. “Speaking of which. Where is he?” Peter sits up fully. “He pulled some skilled vanishing act as soon as you passed out. I wonder if the real reason he was there was just to see you in action” Mars stands up and heads out the room. “What about the soul eater?” Peter asked them. “Gone for now. Your spell is still lingering, but I’m not shocked blood magic does that you know. That’s why we don’t use it” Ruby smiles at him. “It’s hard not to use it when it’s apart of you” Peter looks at his venis to see blood filling them. “Babe help me out. What is blood magic?” Markus asked as Peter just looked at his hands slowly feeling the life coming back into them. “Blood Magic, is a dangerous form of WitchCraft it leaves the user less than human if they use too much of it, too much of their own blood. It’s powerful, but even powerful magic has setbacks” Ruby said as Peter stands up. “Slow down buddy” Julian says to him. “I’m okay, and like I said Blood Magic is a part of me. I use it regardless” Peter walks out while Julian follows him. “Hey slow down!” Julian stops him. “I told you guys I’m fine, where is Mars?” “He’s gone out, but hopefully my wonderful personality can keep you occupied” Rebecca comes from the kitchen smiling. “Where is he we need to finish this, that thing is going to come back after him. My magic won’t hold it in the earth for long” Peter said to them. “Are you still keeping secrets?” Ruby appears out of nowhere. “No, I’m not” Peter keeps a straight face, but even Rebecca can see through it. “Why don’t you go and rest for a little bit longer, and we’ll find Mars okay” Rebecca said to him as he heads back to the living room. “He’s hiding something” Ruby said them. “Maybe it’s for a good reason, we don’t know his story” Julian says to her. “I’m going to look into something starting with his mom, tell Markus I’ll be back soon and he has some fresh brain in the fridge” Ruby vanishes. “Fresh brain?” Julian asked. “He’s a zombie remember” Rebecca pokes Julians forehead and heads back into the kitchen. Truth of the Matter In the park Mars sits under a tree secluded where no one else can see him while his fire souls play in the bright and hot sun. His fox soul plays in the bushes, while his scorpion soul crawls on his shirt, his eagle soul sits up a tree taking in the sun. “You guys really enjoy the sun huh?” he says to them while his lion soul appears right next to him. “We get a portion of power from it, our fire rages when it burns brightly” his lion soul watches the sun. “I’m still confused on why only you and panther will say anything to me?” Mars looks to the sun though the shade. “You can feel them, but you can’t hear them just yet” “I’ve been at this for years, and I still don’t understand everything. I hunt these soul eaters, but I know something else is preparing for an even bigger battle” Mars says as Lion continues to watch the sun. “The one who used Blood Magic, the truth is with him”. “He’s been lying ever since he got here, and that soul eater is not like the other ones. It keeps targeting me. It wants you guys for some reason” Mars lays backwards onto the tree. “You’re not just a Soul Bearer Marshall, you are the Soul Bearer. We promised to protect you and we will” the lion says as someone peaks from behind the tree. Fox looks at Mars and he just smiles and nods his head. Fox runs to the other side of the tree and pulls the person from behind it. “I’m moving okay!” it was Peter. “What do you want?” Mars said as Fox ran to him and cuddled up to him. “I just want to talk, I need to tell you everything” Peter said as heard something move under the ground. Fox began to growl and while Lion roar. “Mars, it’s back, but something is different about it” Lion said as the ground began to shake, “And it’s not alone” the soul ripper erupts from the ground and five more were with it. All of Mars souls ran next to him. “This is going to be hard” Mars said Peter who stood beside him. “It won’t be, not if you use the Phoenix” Mars shocked by what he just said looked at him. “How do you know about that?” Mars said as the Soul Ripper blasted him back into a tree knocking him out.

Claws Are Out
Mars, Peter and the mysterious figure just stand there as the soul eater charges them, but Mars grabs the creature with claws made out of his shadow soul energy and throws it outside. “The claws are out” Mars said as his lion Spirit appears in Orange and Red spiritual flames and roars. Mars runs outside where he sees the soul eater trying to stand. “I don't think so” Mars begins to claw at it, ripping it into prices. “I hope he knows that isn't going to work” the mysterious figure says Peter just watches Mars fight the eater. “Then let's help him” Peter grabs a shard of glass and cuts open his palm. “Commanding the blood, I command the ground, I use this spell to bound this creature ...TRAP” Peter chants a spell which causes his blood to sink into the ground. The ground begins to move as something beings to move under the ground. “Mars move!” Peter calls out as Mars jumps back as vines with red stream come out of the ground and tie down the creature. “Blood magic, not bad” the mysterious figure says as he just sits down, and watches as the soul eater tries to break free. “But how long can he last?” He asked as a black cat appears right next to him. Mars watches as the Soul Ripper struggles, "Mars whatever you're going to do, do it now!" Peter screams as his nose begins to bleed and his body starts to become pale. Mars looks at his Lion Soul it roars as Mars begins to build up Soul Energy. He looks at the ripper and blast it into the ground. Peter watches as he cuts his open his other palm and pushes both of them into the ground. "SEAL” he screams as blood drains from his body and his face becomes pale as the group fills up with red dirt. Together
Mars lies there on the ground, as he looks up to see the Soul Ripper staring at him. It hisses at him as he stands up. “I knew I should have went after you” Mars pulls out an amulet, it was shaped like some sort of bird with both fire and darkness wrapping around it. He clutches it and his eyes glow a fiery red as the spirit of a fox engulfed in flames appears next to him. It growls as it moves forward, but Mars stops it. “We’ll do this together” he smiles at the fox as he begins to glow red and flames rushing out of his eyes. The ripper dashes towards him, but he moves out of the way nd grabs it digging into it with fiery claws, he swings it into the ground. He goes to claw at it, but it vanishes into the ground. Mars pauses and closes his eyes. He hears something behind him, he turns around quickly grabbing someones neck, but he quickly lets go when he sees it Peter. “What in the hell are you doing here?” Mars lets him go. “I followed you, you have to let me tell you what you’re dealing with” Peter catches his breath, “You’re soul energy is more stronger than my mom led on” he chuckles. “Not funny, now what the hell are you talking about? This is just some regular Soul Ripper who is about to get ripped” Mars said as the Soul Ripper sprouts from the ground and tries to attack Peter, but he Peter throws up his hands and blocks it with a shield. “Nice save” Mars said as his eyes glow again, but this time dark purple as the spirit of a spider appears around him he opens his palms and dark purple webs made of energy wrap around the soul ripper, and he swings it into the air, he then focus his soul shadow soul energy into a powerful energy ball and blast into the sky and out of sight. “Damn” Peter looks up into the sky, but then Mars entaggles him in web. “You wanna talk, then let's talk” Mars grinned at him as a dark and purple spider crawled on his shoulder. The spider whispers something in Mars ear. “No, we’re not gonna eat him, at least not yet anyway. Talking is Nice...I guess. Mars takes Peter to his house, “Mom, I’m home!” Mars said as he snaps his fingers making the web vanish from around Peter and uncovering his eyes. “Was any of that really necessarily?” Peter said as he stretches his arms. “Look, I don’t know you. You show up in the graveyard, like you knew we were going to be there. Then this soul ripper which you claim to be different than the others just attacks and you appear out of nowhere. You’re. Damn. Right. It was necessary” Mars said as his mom came out from the kitchen. “Marshall, Ruby and Markus were looking for you, they have something very important to tell you...and who is this young handsome man? A new friend? Boy…” “Don’t even finish it mom, this is Peter he saved me tonight from some weird Soul Ripper” Mars goes into the kitchen and sits down at the table. “Oh thank you sweetie, my little man maybe a powerful soul bearer, but he still needs saving every now and then” she hugs him and pulls him into the kitchen. “Have a seat, I made some classic, homestyle, soul food” a plate and cup levitates over to the table. “Mom, where is the mac and cheese?” Mars says frustrated. “Sorry boo!” his moms snaps her fingers and the table is covered with food, “you were late so I had to put everything away” she starts washing the dishes. “Wow” Peter says to himself. “So, what are you in this whole Magical world?” Mars’ mom asked him. “Um, just a low-level witch” Peter said as Mars tilts his head. “A low-level witch with shielding like that and a shield that can hold a soul ripper? Try again” Mars chuckled. “Okay, maybe I’m not low-level, but I’m still a witch my dads side” “And your mom?” Mars asked him. “Ummm, she was like you, a soul bearer” he said as he rubs his arm revealing a tattoo Mars takes notice to it. “She carried the spirit of butterflies” Mars smiled as he hovered his hand over it and it glows, “Your mom was a skilled soul bearer, so skilled, that she even gave one of her souls to you” he smiles. “Awww cute” Mars’ mom says as she gets up, “Marshall, I’m leaving tonight don’t forget. Your father and siblings are waiting for me in New York. Peter it was nice meeting you and whatever adventure you have for my little martian please keep him safe” she said as she just vanishes into thin air. “No problem Ms. Winters” he turns around to say goodbye, but she is gone, “Is she a…” “Soul Bearer? No, mom is something else, let’s just say it skipped her. Back to you, what is it that you need to tell me?” Mars sits back eating his food. “I just have a message for you, it’s from my mom” Peter looks down. “So, tell me” Mars chuckled “I don’t do the dramatic pauses, honestly they do nothing for the story” Mars sits back and waits for him to speak. “Just know that…” before Peter could even finish his sentence they hear something outside the house. Mars glares at the door as jumps up and head towards the window, “How can you see out there?” Peter asked him as Mars clutched his pendant and begins to glow dark purple, his eyes glowing as the silhouette of an owl appears around him. “One of your spirits is an Owl” Peter grins a little as Mars scans the yard. “I can’t see anything” “That’s a good thing?” Peter asked. “Just because I can’t see anything doesn’t mean there isn’t something out there” Mars said as something began charging at the door. “You know it’s going to kill you right?” they both hear someone’s voice coming from behind them. Mars turns around quickly with a soulshadow energy ball in his hand. They turn around to see a young man covered in black, his eyes piercing like a cat. “Who the hell are you?” Mars asked him. “Someone who’s about to save your ass” they say as the door is blown open and both Mars and Peter fly backwards. They look up to see the soul eater, this time larger with wings and tentacles coming out of it’s back. Mars jumps up clutching his pendant allowing his fire soul energy to take over and the silhouette of his lion soul appears around him. “This thing just won’t let me live” Mars said as he takes a stance as the soul eater charges at him, Peter and the Mysterious figure. Nice to Meet You
“I know the funeral has been over for an hour, I just want to sit a little bit longer is that okay?” a young man argues over the phone. “Peter, I know this is hard for you to understand but…” the phone goes out. “Hello? Aunt May? Damn must have lost service” Peter puts his phone away as he looks at his mother's casket. “Mom, I wish I could have gotten here sooner, I wish…” he stops speaking as he hears something behind him he turns around quickly, but he sees that nothing is there. He continues to look at his mother's grave fighting back small tears. He takes a deep breath as he gently says “Bye mom” he walks away, but before he could take another step something knocks him over and throws him into tombstone. He jumps up only to see something crawl into an empty grave. “What the hell was that?” He slowly makes his way to it only to be tackled to the ground. As he struggles he feels something sink into his back and his body begins to glow. He can't get a look at the creature he could just feel something inside of him. The glow around his begins to dim he feels himself passing out until the creature is blasted off of him. “Stay down!” Peter looks up to see a young woman with glowing hands blast the creature again. “Mars!” She calls out to someone and someone leaps from across the graveyard like a panther and onto the creature clawing at it. Peter slowly feels himself passing out, “Markus, you’re on!” she says as someone comes to pick Peter up. “You’re going to be okay” they start to carry him off, but Peter can’t take his eyes off the person who attacked the creature his body was glowing a dark purple, and he was emitting a very powerful aura that was taking the shape of a black panther. The creature is able to free itself from him and vanish into a black light. “Damn it!” Mars said as the aura slowly vanishes from him. “Mars over here!” Mars takes one last look to see if he can see the creature, when he realizes that it’s truly gone he runs over to them. “How is he doing, Ruby?” he asked her and Peter’s body slowly regains it’s glow. “He’ll be fine, the soul eater wasn’t attached to him long enough to do any real damaged” Ruby said as Peter slowly comes to. “So it’s true” Peter said weakly as he looks up and straight to Mars. “There is a soul bearer in this town” Peter stands up as he looks at Markus and Ruby then back to Mars. “Nice to meet you” Peter holds out his hand, but Mars just stares at it as he crosses his arms and begins to walk away, but not before he says. “Welcome to SoulsPoint”. A Mission Mars, Ruby and Markus head to small coffee shop while Peter follows them. “What do you want? This is not a story you can’t just follow people around, if anything that’s how horror movies begin” Mars asked him as they all sit down. “I just wanna talk that’s all” he takes a pause before taking a deep breath, “My mom was one...a soul bearer” he said as he looks at Mars. “I feel that a mystery or conspiracy is at the edge of your lips” Ruby said as she lifts up her hand and looks into her palm. “Well it’s not really a conspiracy, I’m just on a mission to deliver a message that’s all” Peter said while Mars just looks at him unmoved. “We can talk later, but now I gotta go. I got class in the morning” Mars gets up and walks away from them while Peter, Markus and Ruby are left alone at the table. Peter just sits with them in silence as Mars vanishes from their view. “Is he always like this?” Peter asked Ruby as she just feels on Markus’ shoulder. “Yes, but only to new people holding a secret” Ruby tells him as car crash happens in the back, he turns around to look at it. “Damn” he turns back around quickly only to see that Ruby and Markus have vanished. Familiar Soul Mars is walking back home, but he is stopped by something, a familiar soul. “Not in the mood, Julian” Mars said as a glowing grey wolf appears in front of him. “Really Julian” Mars says annoyed, the wolf howls and Mars just stands there. “I’m not talking to Balto” Mars says as Balto disappears. “You are never any fun” Julian appears nears the wolf as it fades into a light grey fog. “Anything you have to say to me, you say it to my face. You’re not that cool” Mars grins as Julian just nods his head smiling. “That’s because you won’t let me be” Julian says as Mars continues to walk. “Come on Marshall” Julian begins to walk with him. “Just because you are the only one who calls me Marshall instead of Mars doesn’t mean that you’re cool” Mars keeps walks as Julian just smiles. “You know for a person with fiery soul energy, you are pretty cold” he chuckles as Mars just continues to walk. “You also seem to forget, Julian. I also have shadow soul energy” Mars said to him, “Also, be on the lookout there is a soul ripper lurking around town tonight. It got away before I could kill it so if you see it please deal with it for me” Mars pulls out his phone and begins to text someone. “What do I get out of it?” Julian steps in front of him. “A safer town, and we’ve already been down this road. We just don’t fit” Mars says with a solid expression. “In what ways?” Julian grins. “I’m so done with you” Mars burst out in laughter. “Nice to know I can still make you laugh, but I’ll keep a look out for this thing” Julian says to him. “Thanks” “So, do you want me to walk with you?” Julian asks him while Mars just grins. “Only if you can fly” Mars begin to glow a dark purple as the silhouette of an owl appears around him “I’ll catch you later, but I gotta fly” he smiles as he lifts into the sky and flies away. “Hmmmm, not as a cool as a pack of wolves though” Julian says a Baltom manifest besides him, “Awww so you wanna walk with me” he says as Balto lets out a tiring howl and fades away. “Guess I’m on my own” Julian begins to walk, but unknowingly to him a strange black cat watches him. It lets out a soft “Meow” before it disappears into the darkness. Soft Landing Mars continues to fly through the sky taking in the view of SoulsPoint from way up. “It looks peaceful tonight, minus that soul ripper” Mars says to himself as the breeze hits him and he smiles. Though it’s not too long before he feels something hit him, he tries to brush it off, but he can’t “What the hell?” he panics as a huge ball of energy knocks him out of the sky. He tries to regain his balance, but it’s too late he crashes in the park. “Talk about a soft landing” Mars said as he slowly gets up. “Damn it” he brushes himself, but only a matter of seconds that he could something was near him, something dark. He turns around quickly only to see the soul ripper lunge at him. |
