Em wakes up to the scene of various mutilated bodies, some strung up to the walls, while others neatly ordered against the walls like dolls. He stands up holding his side to keep blood from running down his leg. His leg brushes up against a body where he sees their final moments, a creature rips them apart clawing, relentlessly clawing at their entire body, they scream so hard that no sound comes from their mouths, just a face of terror until their face is emotionless, their eyes wide open lifeless. Em backs away and throws up trying to get the image out of his head.
“You should be down there with them,” a woman says to him as she walks from a corner of the room. She was covered in blood, but the rest of her exposed body is spotless, her olive skin shines even though the light is so dim.
“I didn’t come here to die” he wipes his mouth and tries to catch his breath, the woman stares at him as a sad and depressed look falls upon her face as she slowly approaches him.
“But you did” she whispers to him, “And now you’ve accepted a fate worse than death…”
