Light & Darkness (Personal Version)

Fell from grace, got behind in the race, lost a steady pace, darkness all over my face, embraced by fear.

Been lost in the darkness, been lost in the shadows, nothing but hollow dreams

Inner dreams were breaking, inner nightmares were creating, and the fires were darker than before.

Lying to myself, listening to them inner demons, all day had me dreaming of a

Dark day identical to night, right in my face, I didn’t know where the light was.

Then I looked at myself (Started to hate who I was)

Looked at my hands (Tired of seeing them filled with dark fears)

Then I started to see the light.

And I knew that the time was right, to move away from the dark and find the light.

Right in my face, I pushed the darkness away; the light was right in front of me.

The darkness had no place there my soul was becoming free. The Darkness has no more

Control over me, the Light has me smiling, no more breaking down.

I thought I was gone forever, I thought I was lost to the fears, and the tears of fading.

Inner dreams were making their way back to my deep sleep, the inner me making his way back

To me, to my eyes, to my voice, and to my soul. Listening to the inner sounds of light of me

remembering Who I was, who I was meant to be, who I am now.

Found myself again, found my inner me again

Found the light again, found the sight again.

And I knew that the time was right, to move away from the dark and find the light.

I fought to get my life back, I fought to put my life back together, I fought to put the light back in my life.
